SPARK Art Fair 2024 Gallery Listing
Over 80 galleries from around 20 countries and four continents - Europe, Africa, North and South America - make this year's SPARK Art Fair in Vienna's MARX HALLE the leading international art fair in Austria. In keeping with the unique SPARK concept, only solo presentations will be exhibited.
MARINA FOKIDIS is an independent curator, writer, and educator based in Athens, Greece. She was founder of the art centre Kunsthalle Athena (2010-2015) and of the journal „South as a State of Mind.“ Fokidis was a member of documenta 14’s core-team, co-curator of the 3rd Thessaloniki Biennial and curator of the Greek Pavilion for the 51st Venice Biennale.
Walter Seidl works as a curator, author and artist. He holds a PhD in contemporary cultural history after studies in Graz, Seattle, New York and Paris. His artistic and curatorial work focuses on photography and lens-based media. He has realized numerous exhibition projects throughout Europe, North America and Japan.
After four days (24 - 27 March 2022) at Vienna's MARX HALLE, SPARK Art Fair Vienna is celebrating its success for a second year running: Over 13,500 visitors, including art enthusiasts and collectors from all over Europe, experienced a broad spectrum of high-quality contemporary art. Over 80 galleries from 15 different countries presented a total of 99 emerging and established artists.
Jan Gustav Fiedler is working as a curator for various galleries, interim spaces and museum formats. The curatorial practice of his international projects aims at supporting young and emerging artists by creating a platform for contemporary visions and narratives.
